Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 through 2019she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. She also served as the producer, costume/set designer, composer/musician as well as a text coach for SSC in her capacity as its Artistic Director. Though generally leading from within the ensemble of actors in the final year of her tenure, she started her journey as a director (and lighting designer) in the company's King Lear.
